Nits not at scalp?
These are nits, yes? My daughter’s school has had lice for a few months, and we just got a notification that another active case has been identified in her classroom. This prompted us to do a lice check (which we had been doing regularly but stopped around spring break when it seemed the cases resolved). I found these spread out all over her head by going section by section and using a lice comb. We checked last night and today, finding about ten eggs each time but not pulling out any bugs.
Dimethicone is getting delivered today. Would you still treat this despite not finding bugs? Perhaps I’m just missing them?
Huge shoutout to the group. My family went through lice when I was a teenager, and it was incredibly stressful. Honestly traumatizing 😅 But all the info in this group has made me so much less stressed and freaked out. I’m really grateful!!
