The "just get a hobby" advice doesn't work anymore for 20-40 years old people

[Context: 27M, Madrid]

I don't understand why this advice gets posted everywhere, when people of this generation (zoomers and some millenials) are mostly absent from hobby clubs and acticities. The few ones are also the most flacky and unfriendly of all members (at least in my experience).

Somebody will say "just go to conventions", despite its cliquey nature.

Or "just join pickleball or whatever amateur sport league"; so far, the only one I could find was just for tourist.

Or "just meetup", despite the fact that this app is mostly dead here.

And I'm not saying it's just dating: Even getting new friends after college has become almost impossible right now.

Edit: For the last time, I keep my own hobbies regardless of this reality, I'm not a hermit!!

"Unpopular" opinion: More funding doesn't equal better services

And this is true especially for Renfe/Adif: Despite record investments, the services has never been so awful (to the point of becoming even dangerous, as the Adamuz disaster proved). That's mostly because the waste that budget in useless (even counterproductive) works, such as undergrounding sections, rellocating stations in the middle of nowhere, replacing working rolling stock too early and even turning double track lines into single track (fr). Not to mention corruption and unreliable infrastructure "upgrades"...
