How warped is too warped?
I got my first vinyl and record player for my 21rst birthday. (AT-LP120x) Unfortunately, my vinyl arrived slightly warped. When it spins, the arm and needle rise and fall slowly, but stay consistently in contact with the vinyl without skipping. I was wanting to return it and get a replacement, but target is out of stock and the return window closes soon. I told a friend about this and they said as long as the needle doesn’t skip both should be fine, and I can maybe just try and flatten it with some books. Any suggestions or advice?
