Hello! While driving home I found a pretty big red eared slider next on the road next to copper Mesa he is not native here and there are no pond near by is this anyone lost turtle? His is in a temp set up in my bathtub with water, a hide and a heat lamp.

This animal was found in a suburban area far from water, indicating he is an abandoned or lost pet not capable of surviving in the wild
