We’ll be visiting for a week, starting on 8/16. We’ve been there before but wondered what the smoke situation is now, in and around town. Also, is it worse towards Prineville (we were thinking of playing golf there)?

I play in a round-robin league (50+, 3.0-3.5). It’s competitive but not super-serious. A sub shows up last week, complete sidearm serve above his waist, paddle above his hand, downward slice motion. Completely illegal. I mentioned it after the game as a comment “you should really read the serving rules before someone calls you on it” and he kinda laughed it off. He was not a regular so I let it go. But what do you do in non-tournament play when someone has an obvious illegal serve.
