In other words, is there a way to bypass that initial learning curve without throwing loads of money out the window? Has anyone here started making good money consistently without having lost thousands in the first place? Please share your experiences. Thank you!

Anyone here who had a shock the first time they travelled to a temperate / cold region and felt the chill in their bones for the first time? What was it like?

Of the ones you've been to - in terms of both cities and nature. Which one left you in awe wherever you looked? I haven't travelled that much, but for me it was probably Mallorca.
