I am wiring a laser tree lt80-AA-pro.24v,pwm 0-5v to a mean well RD 65B dual output power supply.Terminal 5 is 24v for laser and fan power.Terminal 7 is wired to a SPST switch,and the other side of the switch is wired to the yellow pwm wire going to the laser head.This yellow pwm wire is one three wires of the 3pin xh2.54 connector.Terminals 4 or 6 COM for a shared ground.This is a standalone setup.The only change is the yellow pwm wire and switch to the laser head.The goal is to run laser at 100%.1 min on/4 min off.The fan needs to keep running to cool the laser.So the 24v keeps laser and fan running and the 5v pwm turns laser on and off.Is this setup workable?
