Octo4a with 500mb data partition

So I have a Raven 2nd gen scanner that runs Android KitKat (no root access), and it's really cool because it has 2 USB 3.0 ports, 1 internal USB 2.0 port, and a USB 3.0 Type-B. It runs on DC power, so the I/O would be fantastic for OctoPrint.

There is just one problem: the OEM thought it would be funny to limit the data partition to 500MB, and then make a separate 4GB partition that mounts as an SD card.

Basically, I have plenty of space overall for OctoPrint, but it wants to put everything straight onto the tiny data partition. Anyone have any suggestions on how to make this work?

The first photo is of it playing subway surfers to test that it can handle a moderate program. The second photo is how I improved cooling so it won't studder, but using a large heat sink, MX-7, and rubber bands. Before it had no cooling. The last photo just shows how crazy this thing is for a scanner. I was able to connect usb hubs and plug a lot of peripherals in without power issues. And yes, it still scans papers even after messing with android.

Recommended head unit for mostly apple car play users

I have a Honda Odyssey 2012 that I installed a fake android 15 head unit in. I did all the custom wiring to get it to work and spent a long time reading the Honda documentation. Most cars you just plug in the cables but I found this was one of the few that did not come with a premade harness. The harness available was for 4th gen, and is only plug and play for 2014-2017 cars while on mine audio and most things did not work. Once I had wiring the audio, phone controls, reverse trigger and camera, illumination, and OEM mic I connected the android. That's when I discovered it was fake :( so I will be returning it. Since I have all of the wiring in place and just need a the plastic shell + the android, would anyone like to recommend a unit I can get for cheap ish on AliExpress or somewhere else? The old unit was an ac8257 so anything is better.

For my use case I will be using it for carplay and will sometimes switch to android for watching tv or playing around with some android apps. Basically I don't need the flagship but it can't lag opening youtube. I am also curious if anyone has thoughts about the 360 camera systems. I am not sure if its worth all the time or if its a gimmick.
