Best option?
Hello everyone. First time posting on Reddit so please bare with me and I’m hoping I’m in the right spot lol.
Im 21F and I have had this scar on my stomach for many years from multiple colostomy bag surgeries. I’ve had it on and off I think around 4-5 times so thats abt 8-10 different times of opening and closing it back up.
I had surgery in 2021 when I was 16 where my surgeon was able to fix it up a little bit (not a plastic surgeon btw) because my scar was basically inwards into my stomach and he was able to bring it up and make it more on the surface of my stomach and flat (sorry if that sounds silly lol I hope I’m making sense).
I’ve been looking into scar camouflage and was wondering if it work or if you guys recommend scar revision surgery? Or if this can’t be fixed to look a little better I’d appreciate the cold hard truth too 🥴
