Which era does Re:Zero world's technology is in?

Google says Re:Zero world is somewhere between late renaissance and early stages of industrial revolution.

But my question is how did the world of rezero evolved to this point, I know there were other people teleport from our world 400 years ago, like hoshin and flugel, but I thought the influence of our world was limited to kararagi due to hoshin and border cities of kararagi and lugunica like priestella, but how did plumbing system reach parts of lugunican capital or I assume even vollachia and how did Emilia had a plastic ball in her flashback and also the weapon of a divine general (I won't name for anime onlies) looked that modern design just like the wheelchair subaru made for rem and how did vollachia get the idea for chain of dragon carriages in a line (aka train) by using their DPs for speed. Also why didn't hoshin teach them about guns and gunpowder. Not my ideal businessman. Chat did I cook or burnt the steak?

I would like to hear everyone's guesses as well.
