BIG bosses and modular damage

I am kinda new at 5PH and I have a few models which are too large for the play area compared to the other units. In particular, I have a 6 legged Lego bot thingie with two arms which could be flamers. I have mused that he could be a baddie, but he wildly outclasses any weapon or other unit in the game.... but....

What if he was a modular unit, instead of several individuals?? Each arm could take 1 or 2 hits, and he'd lose a flamer, each leg destroyed would slow him down by 1/6th, sensors (for eyes) could reduce the firing range...

"Borderlands" made me think of fighting Bosses in the Badlands.

I know this might not be in the vein of the game, but, thoughts?

YT channels that show the entire game process

Hi all! I am looking for YT channels that show the whole game/scenario process... Crew generation, planetary travel (or Borderlands equivalent, if applicable), and pre/post-battle accounting. I love to watch people play, but I tried to roll my own campaign, and it took me a few hours. I definitely need to see it in more detail.

I don't have Borderlands, but I would like to see it played from the start so I can determine if I like it as much as Parsecs.

I loved watching the Hobby Homies campaigns because they are frickin hilarious, but I missed the inter-battle stuff.

Thanks!

Update from Microsoft??

Today, 2 options for updates were available:

"Microsoft UEFI CA" and "Microsoft UEFI dbx".

I know it's a UEFI cert and a database. Why is it on a Linux machine?

I had turn off secure boot to install to linux, but I never plan to boot this machine to Windows.

Why is this happening?

CAT-6 as Digital Input sensor wires on Waveshare device?

Hi all! I have several Waveshare devices with 8 digital I/O ports I intend to use for sensing whether individual 12VDC lights have power or not. I'd considered using CAT-6 cable since there are already 8 wires in there. Will there be any interference between the bound, twisted wire pairs? It's just DC sense, so there will be no data to corrupt or anything like that. Could there be spurious signals I need to suppress maybe?

If I were to run individual wires for each input, what do I need to consider? The wire lengths should be around 5m/15ft.

Gameplay aids?

What have you done to improve the gameplay? I see new crew log sheets and whatnot, but what else do you use?

I wish this was a video game

I don't need 3D battles, so other than that... this game should be trivial to program compared to other games I have played!

I love the https://fiveparsecs.online/ app, but the rules are almost entirely "if / then" programming statements.
