I flew Air France a couple days ago from Sweden to Bordeaux and they had lost my check-in bag. They delivered it to me 5 days later with my luggage completely destroyed and multiple items missing.
Like it literally looks like my luggage fell out of the plane. One wheel is missing, the body is completely cracked with multiple holes, and the entire bottom is indented.
I got this luggage just two weeks before my flight too. I'm really disappointed in how Air France handled my luggages. Especially saddened by the fact my suit I had tailored amongst other electronics are missing. Hopefully Air France can reimburse me for this stuff.
Has anyone experienced this before? I'm interested in learning how long they take to respond to claims. I'm in Europe for the first time ever and quite honestly my trip has not been the best because of this.
