So I’ve run into a issue now I’m hunter rank 159 post gog quest in the story and I can’t get a couple monsters to spawn for their parts I’m specifically after high rank guardian rathalos and I don’t have a optional quest to hunt a high rank but I haven’t gotten it to spawn even during a quest like at arkveld or during wyverns stirring weather I’m just curious if either I’m such a high rank only some monsters can spawn cause I tend to only have tempered stuff spawn or if I missed a side quest or just progressed to fast to get it as a quest or what’s likely the option really unlucky spawns does anyone know if I can still access high rank guardian rathalos or do I just have to keep trying

As the title says I’m a lance main looking to learn a new weapon so far with my experimentation I’ve started to learn and pick up its with it’s from what I’ve done so far find it has nice charge attacks isn’t as complicated as charge blade doesn’t need a million combos just to do damage has a nice offset attack and has a mindless button slam attack with good damage but I would like to be able to use it in some of the higher ranks monsters so far haven’t done much but what builds would help me learn as I typically run a comfy near immortal build
