Does anyone here play Vintage Cube on MTGO from a Mac and wish there was a 17Lands-style tracker?

I built a native macOS app for myself because I couldn’t find anything like 17Lands for MTGO.

It automatically imports my MTGO logs (shared from my Windows VM), reconstructs my drafts and results, tracks card picks, and gives me detailed statistics by archetype, colors, cards, cube season, win rate, trophy rate, etc. Everything stays local. It’s a personal tracker, not a crowdsourced service like 17Lands.

The catch is that I built it around my own setup: I play MTGO inside a Windows Virtual Machine on my Mac, and the app reads the shared log folder. That makes me wonder if I’m the only person who would ever use it.

I’m curious:

- Does anyone else here play MTGO on a Mac (UTM, Parallels, VMware, etc.)?

- Do you keep statistics on your Vintage Cube drafts?

- Would you be interested in a personal tracker like this, or do you just rely on memory/17Lands for Arena when the Vintage Cube is up?

I’m not trying to sell anything. I genuinely want to know if this solves a problem for anyone besides me.

How are you handling devices with hardcoded DNS?

Is there a way to force all DNS traffic through Pi-hole within the UniFi ecosystem?

Most discussions I find end up recommending pfSense or OPNsense, but I’m already invested in UniFi and don’t want to replace my gateway.

I have a UCG-Fiber and 2 Pi-holes advertised via both IPv4 and IPv6 DHCP.

I don’t want devices with hardcoded DNS (8.8.8.8, 1.1.1.1, etc.) to break. I’d like them to keep working while transparently forcing all DNS queries through the Pi-holes.

Is there a clean UniFi-native way to do this?

Port 7 on UCG-Fiber as LAN using a UACC-CM-RJ45-MG

Has anyone successfully used a UACC-CM-RJ45-MG on Port 7 of a UCG-Fiber?

My current setup is:

  • Port 5 = 10G WAN (ONU via Ethernet)
  • Port 6 = DAC to a Flex 2.5G PoE

This works perfectly, including DHCPv6-PD and IPv6.

My goal is to add a Mac Studio at 10G speed so I bought a UACC-CM-RJ45-MG and tried using Port 7 configured as LAN, but the Mac Studio won’t negotiate a link.

Is there a known limitation with Port 7, or has anyone found a supported configuration that allows 10G WAN on Port 5, 10G DAC uplink on Port 6 and a 10G LAN connection on Port 7, all at the same time?

EDIT: I'm running UniFi OS 5.1.15 and Network 10.4.57.

I’m running a UCG-Fiber with OCN (NTT FLET’S Hikari) using OCN Virtual Connect (MAP-E). WAN is IPv4 over IPv6, IPv6 via SLAAC, and everything works correctly (IPv4 shows 192.0.0.2, IPv6 has a proper global address, and the OCN test shows IPoE working for both).

The issue is on the LAN side: The only way this setup works for me is setting the LAN in “Single Network” mode and when that happens, all IPv6 settings are greyed out. I can’t configure DHCPv6 or RDNSS, so I can’t advertise my Pi-hole as the DNS server over IPv6.

Pi-hole works fine for IPv4, but clients still get IPv6 DNS from the gateway/ISP and bypass it. I need to keep IPv6 enabled because of MAP-E, and I don’t want to run Pi-hole as DHCP.

Is there any way to override IPv6 DNS in this setup, or is this just a limitation of UniFi + MAP-E? Has anyone made Pi-hole work cleanly here without disabling IPv6?
