Looking for realistic career advice in Algeria

I’m looking for career paths in Algeria that offer financial independence, relatively short studies, and good job security.

My situation makes financial independence a priority. I can’t rely on someone supporting me financially for years, so I’m looking for something practical: a career where I can start working relatively quickly, earn a decent and stable income, and eventually afford my own housing and life.

Ideally, I’m looking for:

- Short or reasonable study/training time

- Good demand and realistic employment opportunities in Algeria

- A decent starting salary with room to grow

- Job stability, especially in the public sector or large companies

- Housing, bonuses, or other benefits would be a huge plus

I’m considering things like Sonatrach, IT, technical fields, healthcare, civil aviation, logistics, and government careers, but I don’t know how these actually look in terms of salaries and employment.

If you work in one of these fields or know the Algerian job market well, I’d really appreciate honest advice.

What career would you recommend for someone whose main goal is to become financially independent as soon as reasonably possible?

Is becoming a commercial pilot in Algeria worth it? ✈️

For Algerian pilots/students:

How much did training cost? How hard was finding a job, and what salary can you realistically expect?

Most importantly: is it financially worth it, and would you recommend studying it in Algeria?

opening a bank account to study abroad

I would like to ask about opening a bank account as an Algerian student who plans to study abroad, specifically in Italy. I would like to know, based on the experience of those who have gone through this, whether having a Mastercard or a Visa card is necessary. Is there perhaps a better option, or does the type of bank account not really matter when traveling to Italy? I would appreciate accurate answers that address my questions. Thank you.
