Micro1 Interview Process Bug? Applications Auto-Submitting Without Any Interview or Feedback

Earlier, the platform used to conduct interviews or assessments first, and after completing them, we could at least see some kind of status like:

  • Qualified
  • Not Qualified
  • Hiring Manager Review
  • In Progress

But now, as soon as I apply, it instantly redirects to another screen saying:

That’s it. No interview. No assessment. No technical screening. Nothing.

I seriously think this is a bug or some broken workflow happening on the platform right now because every single application directly jumps to this message automatically.

What’s even more frustrating is that many of us have already completed interviews in the past, but there’s still:

  • No proper result
  • No detailed feedback
  • No explanation of strengths/weaknesses
  • No clarity on rejection or qualification

At least candidates deserve to know:

  • What went wrong
  • What went right
  • Which areas need improvement

Without feedback, how are developers supposed to grow?

Honestly, this is becoming one of the biggest myths around this platform — people keep applying, giving interviews, and waiting endlessly without transparency or meaningful updates.

If Micro1 wants to build trust with engineers, they really need to:

  1. Fix this application/interview workflow ASAP
  2. Show actual interview results
  3. Provide detailed technical feedback
  4. Maintain transparency in the hiring process

“Anyone Else Stuck in Hiring Manager Review for 30+ Days on Micro1?”

Is anyone else stuck in “Hiring Manager Review” on Micro1 for 30+ days?

A lot of applications just sit there without any update, and some of mine are about to hit 30 days as well. It would really help if the platform clarified the usual review timeline or at least gave applicants a realistic expectation.

If a role is no longer active or we’re not being considered, a simple rejection/update would be much better than leaving people waiting endlessly. Right now it feels like we’re stuck in a loop, checking for updates every day with no clarity.

At least then we can decide whether this platform is worth continuing to rely on or not.

Is the micro1 dashboard status bugged?

I wanted to ask if anyone else has experienced very slow status updates on the micro1 dashboard.

I’ve applied to several positions, and most of them have been stuck on “Hiring manager reviewing” for weeks. A few are getting close to 30 days with no visible change.

What’s interesting is that I already have interviews scheduled for some of these roles, so I’m not sure if the dashboard updates are delayed or if the statuses just don’t refresh often.

Curious if this is normal or if others are seeing the same thing.

Micro1

I wanted to discuss something regarding the interview process at Micro1, especially the Zara AI interview rounds.

For the past 1 month, I’ve been giving interviews there, and in many cases the Zara AI either:

  • fails to ask questions properly,
  • mispronounces questions badly,
  • has long awkward time lapses/freezes,
  • or completely glitches during the interview.

Sometimes it becomes very difficult to even understand what is being asked. Despite these technical issues, the interview still ends with a “Not Qualified” result.

I’m curious if others have experienced the same thing. It feels unfair when technical problems from the AI side can directly affect the interview outcome.

Has anyone else faced similar issues with Zara AI interviews on Micro1? How did you handle it, and did support respond properly?
