Guardian-Class and Argus-Class (fictional)

The Argus-Class Heavy Frigate is designed to bring back the original purpose of frigates. Armed with 10 torpedo tubes from the MTLS and MK.32 systems. The ship uses the M660 HMS and a towable array sonar for guidance and has a large Aviation focus for the MH-60R. Air defense is covered by 40 C-Dome and x32 Mk.41 vls cells with quad-packed seasparrows as well as sm-2 and sm-3 (Torpedoes can also be launched from the mk.41).

The Guardian-Class Aerial defense/medium destroyer ship is used in two ways:

1- In strike groups to combat over-saturation and taking the air defense load of off the destroyers.

2- By itself to provide ballistic missile defence and defense against all other air threats.

The ship can also be used in a medium destroyer role when tomahawk are fitted in the vls cells. The RIM-116 x21 cell launcher and x11 cell SeaRam are used for close-in defence.
