Two questions. I am prior enlisted from a different branch. I chose my rate as Construction Electrician. I’ve been actively drilling with my TRUIC since February however that NIOC unit is just a bunch of IT, CTT, etc. no Seabees. How does it work when it comes time for AT? I haven’t had a particularly straight answer when I ask. I got in an accident so hadn’t worried too much but now that my back is better I want to look into AT orders so I get a good year. I don’t have an UMUIC, I applied for Seabee units on MyNavyAssignment but since I don’t have A-School I also wonder if they’ll even pick me up. That said, my second question is, will they pick me up if they see an E-5 with no training in their rate?

Hello I just got back into using HA and bought a way better brain. However, it was expensive(for me) and the only tablet I have is an iPad 9th Gen. right now to work with and it doesn’t have the feature where it stops charging at 80% for example and automatic charging at a certain percentage or look to wake. Has anyone found a good way to make tablets like these a good home dashboard without damaging the battery? It’s not wall mounted, it’s on a stand on my kitchen island.

I switched branches from USMC to NAVY Reserves. I finally got my NWU Type 3s and was wondering if I can use a MCMAP Black Belt I already own with them? I’ve been told yes by some sailors but want to test with the knowledge of Reddit. I’ve only seen answers on Corpsman subreddits.

I have not brought it up because I thought maybe I am overthinking. It has bothered me that my wife tells her mom over FaceTime about our small issues or my personal issues. Such as me having issues finding a job and I am unemployed currently. Most recently today when we got into a small “who’s gonna do the dishes today” mini argument. We’re newly wed for context so this I know is small but I don’t like her mom knowing because I feel like it’ll end up with them not even liking me. For context we usually either do the dishes together or we take turns but this time none of us wanted to do it so we got annoyed w each other. We never got “really” mad. Could be I’m also very closed off with what I share with my family.

In everyone’s experience, I am making an application that will be of interest for some businesses/investors and activists/reform activists, is it more beneficial that I launch it as only an app or as an app and a website? I will admit I have more experience with website as this would be my first iOS mobile application I launch. I was thinking first a website then work on the mobile app integration as I gain traction but I want to hear from the community.
