Struggling with my personal size

I bought a personal size chestnut crocodile Filofax and I LOVE it. I love the look and feel and the overall size. My only issue is that I am struggling to write in it, especially on the left side. I guess it’s the perfectionism in me that wants everything to look pretty and neat and it is NOT looking like that. Does anyone else have this issue? Any tips other than taking the pages out to write?

So emotional over Hilary

I’ve been so emotional listening to her music this past year and seeing her in concert.

Everything revolving her feels so full circle.

I met her in February and was able to tell her how much she meant to me. I also went and got the heart she signed for me tattooed the same day.

The last couple of weeks I haven’t been able to get through the classic songs (Come Clean, Fly, Why Not, etc) along with songs from her new album without crying. I honestly was so confused why it was hitting so hard.

She’s also been a huge topic in therapy for me.

I’ve kind of had an epiphany as to why.

I always thought it was because she was a source of comfort. And it is. But the new layer I’ve now realized it’s grief.

I had a bit of a hard childhood with neglect. I wasn’t really taught how to handle big emotions and when I had them, I had to self soothe. Hilary’s music and movies were always my go-to.

The past year and a half I’ve been on a huge healing journey. Through meeting her, going to the concert, and listening to luck .. or something I’ve realized most of the emotions coming up is grief. For the childhood I had but also the one I wish I had. And to be able to relate to so many of her new songs, almost like we’re going through the same things feels profound and holds a lot of meaning for me. Like I’m not alone in this healing journey or experiencing these things alone.

Anyway, writing this feels like a bit of a release of that grief.

I also love that she represents something different for all of us—sometimes something much deeper than nostalgia.

Hilary borrowing fans T-shirt and mailing it back?

I saw a TikTok of someone from Hilary’s team asking a fan if she could borrow her t-shirt, that Hilary wanted to wear it during tour and she would mail it back to her. I can’t for the life of me see what the t-shirt was. Wondering if anyone knows?
