[Test for Test] Chairly - Booth Rent Tracker

I've been building Chairly for the last few months — it's a small, private income tracker aimed at people who rent a booth

The idea is to actually see what you take home after booth rent and expenses, without a subscription or a login.

What it does:

  • Scan a receipt → it reads the total for you (no network calls)
  • Booth rent records itself on whatever schedule you set (e.g: every Friday)
  • Tracks tips and 1099-type expenses
  • Export everything to CSV or PDF
  • Fully offline

I'm in Play closed testing and need a handful of people to run it for the required two weeks so I can push to production.

Join: https://groups.google.com/g/chairly-testers
Opt in: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.lesov.chairly

I'll gladly return the favour if you've got something in testing too 👀

[Test for Test] Chairly — offline income tracker for booth renters

Hey all — doing the Play closed-testing run before launch and looking for a few people to help me test the app

The app's for people who rent chair/booth — hairstylists, barbers, nail techs, etc.. - and need to track what they actually keep after booth rent, tips, and expenses.

Snap a receipt and it pulls the total, booth rent logs itself on a schedule, and you can export CSV or PDF at tax time.

Everything stays on your phone. That's kind of the whole point.

You don't need to be in the trade to test it :D - I just need eyes on it for the two weeks. Feedback is very welcomed. App is very simple

  1. Join the tester group: https://groups.google.com/g/chairly-testers
  2. Then opt in here: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.lesov.chairly

Happy to test yours back — drop a link

[Android, Alpha] Chairly - offline booth rent + income tracker for hairdressers, looking for testers

I built a small app for hairdressers and barbers who rent a chair rather than owning the salon. It tracks income, tips, expenses and receipts, and the booth rent logs itself every week so you stop forgetting it. Everything stays on the phone - no account, no cloud, no ads.

I'm stuck on Google's rule that 12 people have to test it for 14 days before I'm allowed to publish, so I'm short of testers.

If you're up for it, two steps:

  1. Join the tester group: https://groups.google.com/g/chairly-testers
  2. Then opt in: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.lesov.chairly

Anyone can join the group, no approval needed. Then install from Play and open it now and then over the two weeks - Google looks at whether testers actually use it, not just install it.

You don't need to be a hairdresser to be useful. Honestly the most helpful thing is telling me where it's confusing on first open.

One extra ask: it's translated into French, Spanish, Portuguese and German, but I can only really judge the English and Bulgarian myself. If you speak any of those and something reads like a machine wrote it, I'd genuinely like to know.

Happy to test yours back if you've got something in testing. support@appchairly.com

[Test for Test] Need 12 testers for a 14-day closed test - offline booth rent tracker. I'll test yours back properly.

Chairly - small offline tracker for hairdressers and barbers who rent a chair. Income, tips, expenses, receipts, and the rent logs itself every week. No account, no cloud, no ads.

Two steps to opt in (the first one is required, otherwise Play will say you're not a tester):

  1. Join the tester group: https://groups.google.com/g/chairly-testers
  2. Then opt in: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.lesov.chairly

Anyone can join the group, no approval needed. After that, install from Play and open it a few times over the two weeks - Google checks engagement, not just installs.

I'll test yours back properly - drop your link and I'll confirm once I'm in.

One extra ask: if you speak French, Spanish, Portuguese or German, I'd love a sanity check on the translations. It ships in all four but I can only really judge EN/BG myself, so if a string reads like a machine wrote it, tell me and I'll fix it.

Is the studio mocking itself?

https://preview.redd.it/weeyjimrq6ch1.png?width=774&format=png&auto=webp&s=0a1e3bf34556e31843fb9edc8082e1434c5dd6a6

So I've reached episode 160 and this guy keeps appearing with the opening line "We're the only ones using 4:3 in this day and age", so they are effectively making a joke on themselves for not adapting to 16:9 aspect ratio?

Followed up by "After all these years, the costs haven't changed" - what's with that? Not getting paid enough?

Anyway, I absolutely love these gags!
