Kinda too troll how It ended with fake Elizabeth and stuff, I would have liked Elizabeth to actually disappear for a little but still I liked It very much

Having watched (and rewatched) the anime, I wanted to start reading the manga. First manga purchase actually, I just love this series so much I need to consume it in every way possible!!

I just saw this tweet that hit over 1 million views about Sorachi. Some Japanese fans seem worried that with his new series, he might’ve lost the ability to make readers feel excited enough to keep turning the page and stay fully engaged.

What do you all think? Do you think that criticism is fair, or is it still way too early to judge considering we’ve barely seen any of the cast yet aside from the two main characters?

Came back to rewatch a few episodes because I didn’t want the series to end.

Feeling nostalgic about this amazing experience I had 2 years ago!! I was working in Sapporo at the time and got to visit this Gintama holy site (the shop in the first pic straight up had a Gintama shrine lol). I bought a replica wooden sword which I even got tattooed once I got back to the US! 1000/10 I highly recommend visiting Hokkaido in general (stunningly beautiful, fewer tourists, cool summer weather, etc etc) but I especially recommend Toyako for Gintama fans. Lots of great cosplay and everyone was super nice!!

just a quick sketch as im getting back into art after a couple months so, yes, I know this sucks. anyway, the Ghost Ryokan arc has one of my favourite outfits Gintoki has worn in the whole anime so I had to draw it by law.
