With the amount of changes we have seen just in the last 12 months alone, how likely is it we see the FCC take (or buy) back all of the spectrum period? It just feels like the end is near and the plan for this big groups is to just sell their spectrum.
It started with a painted “GWOT-era” 416D upper. AF date code, this was an early 100xxx serial gun. I wanted to keep the build completely German and with all of the original paint. I used an MR556A1 lower, remarked to an early 416D, and built with the correct early parts that Chris u/INTLMILCO has identified in his builds. I could tell by looking at the upper it originally had a flip up front sight and Eotech 552. It doesn’t appear to have had a PEQ or light on the top or sides, although they could have been added after it was painted. I used an airbrush to match the whole gun around the upper. Waiting on Gen 1 CQD and it’s pretty much done🍻
*There was, what I suspect, to have been a Magnifier behind the optic based on the unpainted footprint. Same with the bottom side of the rail in the front, it appears to have been a flash light.
