Wacom One Cursor Jumping Issue (Only affects mouse and not pen)

Hi, I recently had to replace the usb and hdmi cable to my Wacom One as I tripped on it and damaged it, I bought the identical replacement from Wacom, and it works just fine on the tablet itself. But I've been experiencing a strange issue since I got it, where once connected, my trackpad mouse will jump around and look as if it's freezing, generally making it very difficult to use. While I'm primarily drawing with the pen which has no issues, it makes it difficult to switch between different files etc. Not my video, but this person seems to have been experiencing a pretty similar issue, I couldn't find any videos or posts that addressed this. Using a 2019 Macbook Pro, and prior to the cable replacement this week have had no issues drawing with the tablet with it.
