So it’s my first time solo travelling and I have no previous experience with housekeeping or cleaning professionally. The role requires the cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and common rooms in a hostel and it’s for 2 months but only 3hrs a day. Would I likely struggle with this? Anyone else been in a similar position?
I don’t just mean nightlife, although that’s important too. I also mean for the overall vibe, student union, access to nature, amount of things to do, and location
So I’d love to go to Uni of Glasgow but my grandma (80) who raised me wouldn’t be able to see me graduate there. This has made me feel rlly guilty and conflicted. The only unis she would be able to see me at would be Leeds and Sheffield as they’re both under an hour’s drive away. Should I just go to one of those instead?
Places like Roxy’s Ballroom and The Washington sound more my thing. Not sure how popular they are with students though. I generally like indie bars/clubs and activity bars.
