Alternative to Shapes? 💔

It looks like shapes is heading in a different direction and avoiding rp moving forward. I’m also hearing some rumors about privacy risks. I’d love to move my shapes out of the app and into another one. Does anyone have any recommendations for long form rp? Preferably uncensored (able to handle dark and mature storytelling) with good long term memory.

Thanks!

How long does it take for wound separation to heal? Feeling hopeless once again

I had my cleft lift with Dr. Wadie on 9/1. My 4 week mark was yesterday.

I found that I had wound separation near the bottom of my incision on week two. I suspect it may have been caused by removing the steri strips (Wadie asked me to) instead of letting them fall off naturally.

The opening is about half an inch in size. I’m currently using anasept and packing a rolled up gauze ontop of the opening to help it heal, as directed.

It’s been weeks now and I think I’m seeing a bit of skin regeneration, but every so often I’ll see a few drops of blood like today and it feels like a real set back. I’m due to go back to work in 2 weeks now and I have a desk job where I’m sitting for 9 hours a day, with no options for a standing desk.

I’m genuinely feeling miserable. I’m starting to wonder if I ever should have got this surgery in the first place. Do you guys have any experience with closing wound separation?

Cleft lift day 6: urinary incontinence?

Hello, 29f here! I’m 6 days post cleft lift from dr. Wadie. So far things are going as expected- soreness, minimal drainage, trouble sitting etc. I’m only taking Tylenol and the antibiotic that prescribed. I’ve also been taking laxatives to help with BMs.

However, I have noticed I have been peeing pretty frequently, like every hour to every two hours. When I get the urge to pee, it feels like it I don’t make it to the bathroom in time- I’ll pee myself. I’ve done it twice now, once on the day of surgery and once today.

Has anyone had this same experience? I still have my drain in and am expecting to remove it either tomorrow or Tuesday.

I heard that having surgery around the pelvic area can sometimes mess with the nerves and muscles in the bladder- so I was wondering if anyone felt the same.

Bowel movements after CL

Hello! I just got my CL from Dr. Wadie on the 1st of September and I’ve yet to have a bowel movement. I’m currently on a stool softener to help push things along.

I know anesthesia tends to slow things down but I’m feelin real bloated tonight.

Is this normal for day 2 after surgery? I’m trying not to get too paranoid.

Thanks!

CL tomorrow with doctor Wadie- traveling 3 hours 🚗

Hello everyone 29f here! I get my CL with doctor wadie tomorrow and I’m extremely nervous. I’ve been shaking all day and overthinking everything!

I know the cleft lift is the only way to get rid of a PC for good, so I’m sure this is the right decision- but I’m still scared about it.

Does anyone have advice on the best positions to be in while healing? (Sitting, lying down, etc?)

I’m also super nervous about the physical appearance after a CL… my case is pretty mild, but it still scares me a bit as a woman and all.

If anyone has any positive words or advice I’d appreciate it so much!

Cl with Dr. Wadie in two weeks! Advice on sitting and traveling after surgery?

Hello! I’ll be getting a Cleft Lift with Dr. Wadie in about two weeks. He recommended I travel home the day of surgery (it’ll be a 3 hour drive since I’m out of state) and I am SUPER nervous about this.

Has anyone travelled out of state and gone back the same day of surgery? How was sitting after the procedure? Did it hurt?

If anyone has any advice I’d really appreciate it!

CL with Dr. Wadie- does anyone have any after surgery photos?

Hello again!

I’m 29f and I have a cleft lift scheduled with Dr. Wadie on September 1st.

Does anyone have any after “after surgery” photos they’re willing to share from Wadie specifically? I keep getting into my head about this.

I can’t seem to find a lot of healed photos from him specifically, standing in a normal position. They’re normally lying down with cheeks spread which makes it difficult to see what the final result will look like.

My dms are open if anyone is willing to share their experience and/or any after surgery photos!

Thanks guys! I’m a mess over here 😵‍💫

CL Scheduled 9/1 with Dr. Wadie- help!

Hello everyone!

I’m 29f and I have a cleft lift scheduled with Dr. Wadie less than a month from now. I’ll be doing a 3 hour drive to get to his office.

I’m actually really nervous. I sent in photos and it seems like my case is “minor” so the aesthetic appearance of the CL won’t be too drastic. I’m still terrified of how my butt is going to look after the surgery, and I couldn’t seem to find a lot of results on here from women who had also gotten the procedure. Can someone who’s gone through the surgery help an anxious girl out?

I’d also love advice on the healing process. I’ve never had a surgery that requires drains, and I’m also scared about would separation when sitting… overall I feel totally unprepared despite a scouring this forum for over a year now on my other acc.

Any kind of feedback would be helpful ❤️‍🩹
