OWI made a tweet the other day: https://x.com/JoinSquad/status/2103893640426754222

We're looking for passionate Squad Leaders (no content creation needed) for our new marketing campaign who are happy to guide new players through the game!

You need to fill out this form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScWLiLrJJx-R7D3IZ8TnJDI7u06Gyuqa6kCyJLR2ktOl0eEKA/viewform

Which mentions: We're putting together a new marketing campaign and we need Squad Leaders who know how to run a good briefing and guide new players through the game confidently. You'll basically be playing Squad as usual. The difference is, some of the players in your squad will be content creators, and you'll be the one showing them the ropes. This one's a paid opportunity!

1. Are any of you applying for this Squad Leader "job"? What do you think it will pay?

2. Why do you think is going on with all this? Why can't this be done with unpaid SLs like every other game of Squad that content creators play in to create their existing content?

3. What are your thoughts on Squads Creator Partner Program? Who's your favorite? https://www.joinsquad.com/creative-partner-program

...gameplay never matured the community past the "cat herding" phase even 10 years in.

Here's a 10 year old "Cat herding" guide for Squad. https://www.reddit.com/r/joinsquad/comments/5bre79/herding_cats_squad_leader_concepts_and_thoughts/
