I have been on tirzepatide since January. Around the same time, developed an ear issue that has continued to get worse. It's happened before, so I didn't associate the two. Frequently my voice is echo-y (sounds like your in a bucket). Eustachian tube yes, but a twist - ENT told me the ET goes through a tunnel of fat that keeps it stable. More testing needed, but it's documented that you can lose that fat on Glp-1. So I guess my inner ear also got "skinny." Not much can be done for it, be he can try a few things. My husband said it's all in my head - literally!

Aunt died and attended the funeral this weekend. My cousins hauled her "collection " to the funeral home. On display right up front. "She loved to collect x. The family invites you to take a few to remember her by." They got rid of the entire collection! I thought it was genius and her friends loved having a remembrance.

I told my sister we're doing that when it's mom's time.

Husband (of 36 years) is glad "I'm no longer 'single' and officially off the market!" Never had it resized, it's been years since it fit.

Plenty of cruises under our belt, but thus far our biggest ship has been Quantum. Jewel was our favorite. Symphony coming up soon. I've watched videos and think we'll enjoy it as long as it's not wall to wall people. Give me your favorite parts and pointers. Looking forward to lots of places to hide ducks (not in plants).

I set my original goal at 140. I'm so happy to be the size I am. However, I'm still losing and I'm going keep going. My absolute ideal dream weight would be 125. I don't know if it's even attainable or maintainable, but I'm going to see how low I can go. I was 115 when I got married 36 years and 3 kids ago, but that would be too thin for me now.

Recently returned from a trip and I have a question. My husband is disabled and requires assistance. We use the family/handicapped restrooms when available. Lately, every trip, the family restrooms is occupied. We wait, and out walks an able bodied, single individual. On one trip, there were 3 able-bodied individuals (no kids) in line to use the family restroom. I approached and was told by the next woman in line to go to the back of the line. My husband has an obvious disability. I asked her if she was disabled and she promptly replied, "this is a family restroom, anyone can use it." This seems very entitled to me. There was no line in either the men's or women's restrooms. Are family restrooms used by anyone or should they be reserved for families and those requiring assistance?

Tried on several swimsuits. They all fit, and all looked pretty good. On a whim, I tried on a bikini. Nothing crazy. High rise bottoms (to cover loose skin) and good coverage top. Granted the gap between is only 1.5". I couldn't believe the mirror - it looks fantastic! I decided to try on a dress. L was too big! I got a M (8-10). Just Walmart, nothing exciting, but I was excited!

What do you always get on a cruise that you never order when normally eating out? Escargot everyone talks about. What else?

Seems funny, but I never order a wedge salad, but on a cruise, I have several.

Is it just me, or have prices jumped up a lot? We booked 4 cruises for 2026. All booked in 2025, but 2 were booked in November/December. We're looking at 2027 and everything I'm finding is 50%+ higher. Airfare is higher, but not 50% and we can still find deals. If it stays this high, we'll stick to land based next year.
