It's been a long time coming in the Dark Heresy campaign, but we are finally killing Myrchilla Sinderfell tomorrow.

A Sister Revenant is the White Raven’s adaptation to the Repentia.

Due to Morbius-V being a Plague World, a regular Repentia would not last long enough to find redemption in combat, if sent barely dressed with a melee weapon.

The Order then created the Revenant, they’re given the bare minimum protection against the elements but still no armour. A life support system with a limited amount of hours of operation and a bandolier of ammo.

While Repentia are made to fight with Eviscerators, the Revenant are restricted to stub revolvers.

A Sister Revenant is sent out of the Abbey to hunt and kill the enemies of mankind, they may only return once they have spent all their ammo and bring back proof of their kills. The collected trophies tend to be skulls carried in bundles on their way back to the Abbey.

The Sisters Revenant are considered dead, but not one of the honoured dead. Dying in battle will let them earn the right to be honoured after death again. Like a Repentia, their redemption can only come from dying in combat, while perishing from their life support running out condemns them to eternal damnation.

The Revenant are made to wear dark grays and black, further distancing them from the white and pure colors of the ravens, while the stub revolver retains the color of the order. For even if the Sister is disgraced, the weapon of war remains holy.
