How hard is it to get a student job

Hi I’m a transfer student transferring to the U this fall semester. I have work study and I urgently need to get a job on campus by the end of the week. I’ve applied to around 15-20 jobs over this weekend. I’m curious on how long they take to respond and how hard/ competetive is it to get a student job here since the school is kind of big. Should I be applying to more jobs?

Taking EE1301 & EE 2015 alongside linear algebra, am I cooked?

I’m an incoming EE transfer student, and I’ll be taking 16 credits in my first semester at the U. I’ve been advised against taking a heavy course load during my first semester, but I’ve been considering a double major in math, and I’d also like to graduate on time.

I’m already behind in my EE classes, so I have two options. The first is to take EE 1301, Linear Algebra, and one technical class this fall, then take two summer classes. The second is to take EE 1301, EE 2015, Linear Algebra, and one technical class this fall, then take one summer class.

I’ll probably have to take more summer classes for the math major, so I’m really trying to minimize the number of EE classes I have to take over the summer. I’ll also be working part-time this fall.
Can someone let me know if this seems doable? I keep hearing bad reviews about EE 2015 and I’m honestly a little scared.

Hi, I’m a current first year student and I’ll be transferring into the U this upcoming school year. I follow a few clubs at the U related to my major and I’m seeing a lot of board openings. Would it be a stretch to apply for a Vice president position of a club I’m not even in? I think I’m a little qualified, I have leadership experience but what are my chances in getting it?
