According to this 2013 Time Colonist the old Glen Lake Inn was set to be come a day care and medical clinic. What happened? I'm not so sure about a day care attached to the pub but it would be a much better location for the medical clinic rather than on Happy Valley. Although the old fire hall would make a good spot for the day care.
