So I have received the marriot bonvoy card recently.
Its been a month first statement is ready, neither it has asked me for 3K joining fees nor the points are credited or shown in the HDFC bank app. Also I dont see the points in the marriot app .?
Any idea what can I do .? Thanks
I have a joint home loan with my spouse from State Bank of India (SBI). EMI is around ₹1.09L/month. Earlier, SBI used to debit our respective shares from our separate bank accounts, and everything worked fine.
From April 2026, SBI stopped this setup and now wants the full EMI from a single account. Since my wife has an SBI account, we’re planning that I’ll transfer my share to her every month and the full EMI will get debited from her account.
I’ve maintained a strong credit history for ~10 years with CIBIL always above 800, so I wanted to understand:
Will this affect my CIBIL score/history in any way since EMI won’t directly go from my account anymore, even though the joint loan remains active in both our names?
Or does CIBIL only care that the EMI is paid on time regardless of which bank account it comes from?
Would appreciate insights from anyone who has dealt with something similar.
