Is it ethical to be a landlord?

I want to save up and get a mortgage on a 2 bedroom apartment and rent out one room for around half the repayments, I don’t plan to have a long term partner and living by myself would be too expensive, but I don’t want to he renting forever, would this be ok to do?

Hospitals suck

Finally got my gynecology appointment after an 8 month wait, just severe pain and bloating constantly and every single syptom of endometriosis, the doctor just gave me a birth control prescription and said I wasn’t allowed get tested for endometriosis at all for five years (I’m almost 16), and if birth control doesn’t help she said there’s no other options until there would be visible endometrial lesions, Im fairy sure there’s ways to check for endometriosis though? I’m going back in 6 months just hoping the birth control works, I just want it actually sorted though
