Need help

So I bought this goddess oil lamp and I’m restoring her to use and I thought that everything was good. I can hear the motor when I turn it on and I poured oil so those aren’t the problem but I think the pump is broken cause when I looked at the bottom turned on nothing was moving. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Edit: My roommate broke the strings so I’m trying to get the top off to restring but have no luck. Can anyone help?

Discount tire W Sunshine

As the title says I went by discount tires going to Walmart and saw that there was a bunch of shipping crates and permits taped inside the building. They also have scaffolding inside with some walls gutted to the metal frames. Does anyone know what’s happening with them?
