I was wondering if anyone has any experience around sending photos to an inmate in greene co jail? The website references mail and photos are delivered to inmate via a tablet, but it fails to explain the rules around sending photos. Specifically Im wondering if I can mail photos in a correctly and properly addressed envelope and if so how many? Just normal family pics. I called the jail but they didnt know.

Heres what the website says:

Incoming Mail
All personal mail such as letters, pictures, and drawings will now be digitally delivered to your loved one or friend via tablet.
The address to send personal mail is:Greene County Jail

Inmate Name

Jacket/CFN Number

P.O. Box 16120

Jonesboro, AR 72401

No personal mail will be accepted at the Greene County Jail address.
You should still send legal mail or approved packages to the facility.
All incoming personal mail can be on a postcard, 2-page letter (front and back) or greeting card.
Mail received from another Jail and/or Penal Institution will be rejected.
Mail and correspondence from Attorneys, Judges, or Congressmen (Legal Mail) will be opened, copied, and shredded in the presence of the offender.
No Monetary items in any form will be accepted through the mail for deposit in the inmate trust fund account and will be rejected. All funds must be deposited using the Access Corrections Kiosk in our jail lobby, their website or telephone number.
Due to limited storage areas, packages will not be accepted into the Jail. Instead, the packages will be refused and returned to the sender. No Christmas or birthday packages will be accepted.
Mail received for offenders who have been released from custody will be rejected. The Jail will not hold mail for offenders after they have been released.
No mail depicting nudity, weapons, drug use or gang references
All mail must be addressed with complete names and clearly legible
Incoming mail must contain the sender’s complete first and last name, complete return address, and the intended recipient’s complete name and jacket number.

New to this so not sure where to look. I want to try cooking a tuna steak. The recipes I’ve come across say you need a sushi grade cut of fish. Thanks in advance!

I feel like maybe I'm verging on the edge of spam versus not here, so please feel free to remove if I've crossed the line, but - wanted to just highlight to folks a local tie to a movie that just opened at the Moxie this weekend, called THE SCOUT, written/directed by Paula González-Nasser.

The movie was at Tribeca and is a NYTimes Critic's Pick (nice!) that follows a day or so in the life of a young woman working as a television location scout in New York. But it co-stars Max Rosen, a born-and-raised Springfieldian (y'all let me know if that feels even vaguely right) who himself once worked at The Moxie.

I believe it's playing once a day through Thursday - if you have the time to check it out, we of course would love that - just posting here because it's a small movie without a marketing budget and otherwise - not sure most people would know it exists!

This is a long shot, but figured I’d give it a try!
I grew up in Springfield but haven’t lived there in quite a while.
Back around 2008-2010, while I was at MSU, I lived in apartment at 935 S. Kimbrough, in what I believe was a Bryan Properties apartment complex. The buildings have since been replaced but I was curious if anyone here remembers them or happened to live there around the same time.
Would be fun to reconnect with some old neighbors or even see pictures of the place if anyone happens to have them! Small world, so figured it was worth asking!

Which gas station is better to get rewards at (and why): Maverick or Casey’s? Both are about equally far from my house and I don’t know how to tell which would save me more money or be more worth it.

I’m wanting to get my septum pierced soon and I cannot decide between Next GEN and Kaleidoscope.

They both seem to have cult followings, but they also both have some pretty strong hate groups, so I’m stuck 😂

For those of you who have actually gotten pierced at either place, who do you use/prefer? Is there a specific piercer you’d recommend, especially for a septum?

I know Kaleidoscope is a APP member, but that honestly doesn’t mean much to me if the piercers themselves aren’t good. I’d rather hear real experiences from people who have actually been there. And is kaleidoscope worth the higher price point?
