M2 Pro vs M2 battery

Hey there everyone.

i have some questions about battery life on the M2 chips.

I currently own a MBP 14 with the M2 pro chip. Got a good deal compared to other listings. (16/1tb and only problem is a little almost invisible dent. Paid 700 bucks) and didnt really think twice about it. Now i have Asashi Fedora on it and the battery under light to medium-ish use seems to last about 6 hours. maybe a little bit more.

Firstly how much different is this to the arch version of asashi? is the battery performance better? Is a switch worth it?

Second question is if it would be worth it to go with the normal M2 (as like a 13inch mbp or air) for more battery life. Is it even that much worse with the m2 pro? I mean i can easily resell mine at like 900€ and get a cheaper 13inch.

Third question is about how i could improve battery life. Display is most of the time at 30% and keyboard lighting is off. Power profile is on power save.

Thanks in advance and sorry if those questions where already answered somewhere. Maybe im just blind and didnt see them lol.

Hello dear thinkpad enjoyers.

I want a new laptop and need some help from people who might have said laptops or used them at work.

What i have right now :

As of right now i own a 2016 Macbook pro 16" with the highest spec i7 and Radeon pro 460 gpu. Great laptop overall and performance us still very usable. It runs debloated windows 11 right now and i gave the cooling system a whole remake (new openings on the bottom for better cooling and thermal grizzly's kryonaut + thermal putty pro repaste and connection to the frame).

Still open one (1) youtube video and that thing goes airplane mode on you and screams the whole time.

What i would like to have:

Thats why im really interested in the X1 Nano. I want something:

- Smaller like 13" - 14"

- 9h battery life under mid to higher workloads

- Good Linux support

- No Mac

With all that said a used nano sounds like a good deal. But so does a 13" XPS (but linux on arm still worries me lol) or the new Framework 13" pro.

If anyone has one of those or another laptop that fits my usecase can you please tell me about your experience?

Thanks in advance.
