"Han ya han?"

Hey pretty people! Writing something after a long time, Idk if this can be counted as Fanfic, or more of drabble? But I just had to write it lol. Anything to end the crap going on in the show.

Please ignore the grammatical errors if any, wrote it in the record time of an hour hehe.

Nawab lay flat on his chest against the hard, weathered planks of the scaffolding, staring blankly at the vast field around him. His body felt heavy, completely drained, and his eyes burned with a hot, stinging tiredness that he couldn't blink away. Every thought dragging through his head felt like sludge.

Heer would be getting married to that arjun right about now,’ he thought. The realization didn't hit him like a sudden blow; it was more like a dull, steady ache that had been settling into his bones all day. Flash after flash of memories flickered behind his eyelids—her laugh, the way she looked when she was angry, the quiet moments they shared right where he was lying. It was all slipping away, completely out of his reach, happening somewhere far away while he was stuck here with no will left to even move.

A light tap landed on his shoulder.

Nawab barely moved, letting out a faint, dismissive grunt. He didn’t have the energy for anyone. Probably just Buzo being annoying.

A second later, another tap hit him. Harder this time, demanding attention.

"Abhi nahi yaar, Buzo," Nawab muttered, his voice thick and rough with exhaustion, not even bothering to open his eyes. "Go away."

Instead of leaving, a much sharper, impatient jab dug into his shoulder.

"Yaar Buzo, mana kiya na—" Nawab snapped, cutting himself off as he forcefully twisted his body around to finally glare at him.

The words died right in his throat. He froze, his entire body locking up instantly. It wasn't Buzo.

It was Heer. She was standing there, looking down at him, completely dressed up as a bride. The heavy red lehenga was intricately embroidered with gold threads, a massive statement necklace sat against her collarbones, and her wrists were lined with stacks of red and white chooda that clicked softly with every tiny movement. Her nose ring caught the fading light, and her hands were dark with intricate mehndi designs. She looked breathtaking, flawless, and completely out of place on top of a dusty wooden scaffold.

Nawab’s heart stopped, then started hammering violently against his ribs. He blinked hard, violently rubbing his knuckles into his burning eyes, convinced his exhausted brain had finally snapped. He murmured out loud, his voice trembling, just desperate enough for her to hear:

"Kya ho gaya hai mujhe? Khuli aankhon se sapne dekh raha hu... Nawab, nahi aaegi wo, hosh me aa!"

Heer crossed her arms, looking down at his frantic state with a tiny, amused twitch at the corner of her lips. "Kya bakwaas kar rahe ho?" she asked, her voice clean and real, cutting straight through his panic.

"Yaar, tum jao yaha se..." Nawab said instantly, panic making him clumsy. He reached out, his hand frantically pushing at her air to get her to leave, still fully believing she was a cruel trick of his imagination. He thought he was pushing at a ghost, a mirage made of his own longing.

But his hand didn't pass through air. It made solid, jarring contact.

She was real. She was actually standing on the narrow edge, and the sudden momentum of his frantic push threw her completely off balance.

"Ah!"

Her heel slipped. Nawab’s eyes widened in sheer terror as her body began to pitch backward, right off the side of the structure.

Before his brain could even process the horror, his instincts took over. Nawab lunged forward, throwing his weight against the rough planks, his arm shooting out into the empty space. His fingers clamped tightly around her wrist just as she slipped entirely off the edge, her bridal skirts swirling around her as she was left dangling precariously from the very top of the ladder leaning against the frame.

He held onto her hand like a lifeline, his muscles straining, his heart in his throat.

"Tum... tum sach mein ho?" he breathed out, his eyes scanning her face in absolute disbelief. The reality of her skin beneath his fingers was dizzying. "Yaha kya kar rahi ho?" he asked again, his voice cracking. He looked down at the bright, heavy fabric pooling around her. "Aur wo bhi yeh... Aise?"

Heer glared up at him, her face flushed from the near-fall, dangling dangerously but still holding onto her pride. "Sab aise hi pooch loge kya? Upar kheencho mujhe!" she complained loudly, her voice sharp with impatience.

Bracing his knees against the wood, Nawab pulled with everything he had left, hauling her back over the threshold.

The momentum was too fast, too clumsy. Heer spilled over the edge and collapsed heavily right on top of him, a tangle of heavy red silk, gold jewelry, and warm, breathing reality.

Nawab instantly brought his hands around her waist, holding her tight to support her weight, the fabric rough beneath his palms. For a second, the universe shrank down to just the sound of their ragged breathing.

Then, reality crashed back in.

He didn't have the right to hold her like this anymore. She belonged to someone else now.

A sharp jolt of guilt hit him, and Nawab pulled his hands away as if he’d been burned, quickly dropping them to his sides.

But before he could fully retreat, Heer reached out, her fingers catching his wrists mid-air. With a firm, stubborn tug, she forcefully placed his hands right back onto her waist.

She looked down into his eyes, her expression fierce and unyielding.

"Do minute pakad nahi sakte?" she commented, her voice dropping into a quiet, definitive demand.

Nawab stared at her for a long, heavy moment. His hands remained pinned against her waist by her own stubborn grip, but he slowly shook his head, his face twisting into a look of absolute disbelief.

"Nahi..." he breathed out.

Heer just looked right back at him, her expression completely unreadable, her eyes locking onto his with a strange, fierce intensity that made his chest ache.

Trying to break the suffocating weight of the silence, Nawab forced out a casual shrug, though his voice trembled slightly. "Aur tum yaha kya kar rahi ho? Ye dulhan wale get up me mera dil jalane aayi ho ya Shaadi se bhaag kar aayi ho?" He tried to chuckle, a desperate attempt to turn the impossible reality into a joke.

But before he could even catch his next breath, she cut him off.

"Haan bhaag aayi!" The word dropped between them in a completely dead, flat tone.

Nawab’s breath caught in his throat. He gasped, his eyes flying wide as a cold shock waved through his body. "Haan?" he repeated, his voice cracking. He couldn't move. He couldn't think.

He just stared at her. She was right here, entirely dolled up as the most perfect looking bride he had ever seen.

"Tumhara dimaag kharab hai kya? Bhaag aayi matlab?" Nawab suddenly erupted, the shock turning into pure panic as he finally processed her words. His hands shook against her waist. "Aise kaise bhaag aayi? Kiske bharose bhaag aayi...?"

Heer didn't blink. She gave a sharp, curt reply that hit him like a slap. "Ram Bahadur ke bharose!" she snapped sarcastically, before her face hardened. Her grip on his wrists tightened, pressing his palms firmer against her sides. "Shaadi ke mandap se bhaag kar tumse milne aayi hu, toh tumhare bharose hi bhaagi houngi na!"

Nawab’s mouth fell slightly open. He looked at her, completely frozen underneath her weight, caught in a wave of utter disbelief.

"Aise kya dekh rahe ho?" Heer muttered, shifting slightly under his intense stare, though she still didn’t let go of his wrists.

Nawab let out a breath that was half-laugh, half-groan, his head dropping back against the wood for a split second before he looked at her again. "Samajhne ki koshish kar raha hu... ki tum kehna kya chahti ho!"

Heer rolled her eyes, her frustration flaring up. "Ismein kya samajh nahi aa raha tumhein? Main apni shaadi se bhaag aayi... kyunki mai nahi kar sakti yeh natak aur. Nahi kar sakti mai Arjun ya kisi aur se shaadi!"

Nawab just stared, his mind frantically trying to string together the pieces of the last few weeks. The absolute absurdity of the situation was starting to make his head spin, and the emotional whiplash was turning into a bitter, confused irritation.

"So just let me get this straight," he began, his voice rising as he laid out the facts, gesturing clumsily with his trapped hands. "Tumne annulment papers sign kiye. Tumne break up kiya. Tumne Arjun se engagement ki. Phir, tumne mujhe move on hone ke liye encourage kiya! Tumne kaha main tumse door rahu... aur ab tum khud apni shaadi se bhaag kar mere paas aa gayi ho?" He shook his head, a breathless, mocking laugh slipping out. "Make it make sense!" he complained, his chest heaving.

Heer’s eyes brimmed with sudden, hot tears, her defensive wall completely crumbling at his accusation. The stubbornness in her posture vanished, replaced by a desperate, suffocating urgency.

"Maine annulment papers par sign kiya tumhari mom aur mere papa ki wajah se, Hum alag hue kyunki mere nakli birth certificate ke according main shaadi ke time underaged thi—jo ki main nahi thi! Arjun se engagement isliye ki taaki gharwale zabardasti kisi saandh ke gale na baandh dein mujhe. Aur isliye bhi taaki tum move on kar sako, kyunki main tumhein khush dekhna chahti thi! Khud se door kiya taaki mere kaaran tumhaara career daav par na lage..."" she explained in one single, breathless rush, the words tumbling out of her so fast she was practically choking on them. She took a sharp, shuddering gasp of air, her eyes locking onto his with absolute, raw vulnerability. "...aur ab shaadi se bhaag aayi kyunki nahi reh sakti tumhare bina!"

Heer shifted on top of him, the heavy red silk of her lehenga rustling softly against his chest. Her grip on his wrists tightened, her fingers trembling so much that the fine gold bangles between her chooda clinked together in a frantic, uneven rhythm.

She didn't look him in the eyes right away. Instead, her gaze dropped to the collar of his shirt, her chest heaving as she swallowed back a sob.

"Pata nahi kya ho gaya hai mujhe..." she whispered, her voice cracking, losing all its previous sharpness. She let out a small, breathless laugh that sounded more like a sigh of pure exhaustion. "Main itne dinon se sab theek karne ki koshish kar rahi thi. Sabke baare mein soch rahi thi—mere papa, tumhaara career, gharwale... Mujhe laga mai sab handle kar lungi. Bas tumse dur hi toh rehna hai, thoda difficult hoga par reh lungi agar isi me sabki bhalayi hai."

Nawab stayed completely still beneath her, his breath catching in his throat. He could feel the erratic, racing beat of her heart pressing directly against his own.

Heer finally raised her eyes, looking at him through a blur of hot, unshed tears. Her face was completely vulnerable, stripped of all her usual stubborn pride.

"Par... nahi reh sakti tumse dur," she murmured, her voice dropping to a raw, desperate whisper. "Wahan shaadi ki taiyaari, wo mandap, wo sab dekh kar aisa lag raha tha... ki tumhare bina toh mujhe saans lena bhi mushkil ho gaya hai."

Nawab didn't breathe. He couldn't. It felt like all the air had been sucked out of the open field, leaving him completely hollowed out beneath her weight. The raw, desperate honesty of her words hit him harder than any physical blow ever could, fracturing the stubborn wall of anger he’d been building up for weeks.

He stared up at her, his eyes dark and burning with an intensity that bordered on painful. For a long, agonizing second, the only sound between them was the frantic, uneven rhythm of their chests colliding with every shallow breath.

Then, something in him just snapped.

Slowly, almost clumsily, Nawab pulled his wrists out of her loosening grip. But he didn’t push her away. Instead, his large palms slid up her waist, his fingers digging firmly into the heavy, gold-embroidered silk of her lehenga, anchoring her to him so tightly that there wasn't a single inch of space left between them. The rough fabric grazed against his skin, a sharp, grounding contrast to the overwhelming warmth of her body.

"Tum pagal ho..." he choked out, his voice dropping into a low, gravelly rasp that was thick with unshed tears. He shook his head against the hard wood, his jaw clenching so hard the muscles jumped. "Tum sach mein pagal ho, Heer."

A single, bitter tear finally slipped down the side of his face, cutting through the dust on his cheek.

"Wahan... tum wahan kisi aur ke saath phere lene waali thi," he whispered, the raw agony of the thought making his fingers tighten instinctively around her waist, pulling her even closer, if that was even possible. "Main yahan mar raha tha. Ek ek pal... mujhe lag raha tha meri jaan nikal jayegi ye soch kar ki tum kisi aur ki ho jaogi. Aur tum... tum itna kuch hone ke baad ab mujhe ye keh rahi ho?"

He looked up at her, his eyes completely bloodshot, filled with a terrifying mix of fierce love and absolute exhaustion. He’d spent weeks forcing himself to believe she didn't care, forcing himself to accept a reality without her—and now, the sheer relief of her touch was tearing him apart from the inside out.

He lifted one shaking hand from her waist, his palm pressing flat against the side of her neck, his thumb brushing over her trembling jaw. The heavy gold of her necklace pressed into the back of his hand, but he didn't care. He just needed to feel the frantic pulse beating steadily beneath her skin.

"Tumhare bina..." Nawab murmured, his forehead gently coming up to rest against hers, his voice breaking completely into a ragged whisper. "...saans toh meri bhi ruki hui thi, Heer."

A tiny, watery smile finally broke through Heer’s tears, making her look messy and brilliant all at once. Hearing his rough confession—knowing she hadn’t completely broken him, knowing he was still hers—felt like the first real pocket of air she’d tasted in weeks. She let out a wet, shaky laugh, leaning into the solid weight of his hand against her jaw.

"Han, pagal hu," she whispered back, her voice lighter now, though her eyes were still shiny with unshed tears. "Tumhare liye." She said with a wink as he laughed at the cringeness of her statement.

For the next few minutes, the sheer absurdity of the situation caught up to them. Clinging to each other on top of the dusty, unstable scaffolding, they talked in hushed, breathless bursts, the heavy tension from before breaking into a strange, frantic laughter.

"Ek minute Heer..." Nawab’s voice dropped, thick with sudden panic. He looked at her flushed face, his fingers tightening on her waist, he swallowed hard, his eyes searching hers, genuinely terrified of what her unstable, abusive father would do once he realized the bride was missing. "Tum... tum bhaag gayi toh Neelu aunty aur Preeti? Tumhare papa—" He couldn't even finish the sentence, the image of his wrath making his throat lock up.

"Sab safe hain!" Heer interrupted quickly, her hands pressing against his cheeks to calm the sudden tremor in his frame. She gave him a reassuring, soft look. "Maa ko bata kar bhaagi hu mai. Papaji ko bhi call kar diya tha maine, wo maa aur Preeti ko apne saath le gaye honge!"

Nawab’s eyebrows shot up, his mind struggling to process the information. "Dad ko bhi pata hai ki tum bhaag gayi ho?" he asked, completely dumbfounded.

"Hanji!" Heer smiled, a tiny, triumphant glint in her eyes. "Aur Buzo ko bhi... usi ne bataya tha tum yahi miloge!"

Nawab let out a breathy, half-annoyed groan, his head dropping back against the wood for a split second before he looked at her again. "Jab sabko bata hi diya tha toh mujhe bhi bata deti," he muttered casually, a small, playful pout tugging at his lips. "Lene aa jaata tumhe."

Heer let out a melodious laugh, rolling her eyes in absolute amusement. "Han, taaki waha aake koi tamasha karte tum, haina?" she joked, leaning in a little closer, knowing his fiery temper all too well. She knew for a fact he would have kicked the doors open and made an absolute scene.

"Han toh?" Nawab snapped back instantly, his chin lifting with that characteristic, stubborn pride of his. His hands gripped her waist a little firmer, pulling her down against his chest. "Sabke saamne utha kar le jaata apni biwi ko!"

"Nahi, please!" Heer chuckled, shaking her head so vigorously that her heavy earrings swayed and clicked against her neck. "Tumhe pata hai kitni mushkil se nikli hu mai waha se? Pammi ko toh bilkul mere sarr par hi baitha diya tha papa ne. Ek second ke liye bhi akele nahi chhod rahi thi wo mujhe. Par fir..." Her voice trailed off into a soft, nostalgic murmur, her lips curving into a beautiful, knowing smile. "...wahi washroom wali window."

The words hung in the warm air between them, and a sudden wave of memory hit Nawab right in the chest.

Nawab let out a low, rumbling chuckle, the sound vibrating directly against her chest. The bitter weight that had been crushing his ribs for weeks was completely melting away, replaced by the ridiculous, beautiful irony of it all.

He remembered it vividly—the sheer panic of their original wedding day at her house. Neither of them had wanted that marriage back then. He remembered sitting in that exact bathroom, sweating, trying to figure a way out of a life he wasn't ready for, when Heer had quietly suggested the absurd, risky idea of slipping out through that huge washroom window.

He looked up at her now—this gorgeous, chaotic girl lying on top of him in the middle of a random field, wearing the heavy red lehenga meant for someone else, completely breathless just from running back into his life. She had used his own escape route, the one she gave him, just to find her way to him.

The utter poetry of it made his heart ache with a love so fierce it felt heavy in his chest.

Slowly, the laughter died down into a quiet, heavy silence. The wind brushed past the scaffolding, carrying the distant, faint sound of village birds, but between them, the air grew thick again. This time, though, it wasn't from pain or misunderstandings. It was the heavy warmth of certainty.

Heer looked down at him, her expression turning incredibly soft, all the teasing excitement fading from her eyes. She reached out slowly, her shaking hands framing his face, her warm palms cupping his stubble-bristled cheeks. The heavy red and white chooda clicked softly against his ears, a sound that felt so real and grounding it made Nawab’s eyes flutter shut for a brief second.

She swallowed hard, her heart knocking frantically against her ribs, echoing loudly in the small space between them as she prepared herself to rewrite their history. "Ab tumhare saare sawal jawab khatam ho gaye ho," she began, her voice trembling slightly, losing its steady edge but holding a beautiful, stubborn certainty that didn't waver. "Toh ek sawal mai bhi pooch lu?"

Nawab opened his eyes, staring straight up into hers, his breath catching completely in his throat. He could see his own reflection in the wet shine of her eyes, could feel the slight tremble in her fingers against his skin.

Heer leaned down just a fraction closer, her forehead almost touching his, her eyes locking onto his with raw, unyielding love. She let out a shallow breath, echoing the exact words he had once desperately offered her—the ones she’d been forced to crush and deny back then under the suffocating weight of their family's pressure.

"Shaadi karoge mujhse, firse?" she proposed softly, a beautiful, tearful challenge in her eyes, her lips trembling into a tiny smile. "Han ya han?"

Quick question

I wanted to write something and it involves the small hut thingy they use in the midst of the field (the one from where nawab showered flower petals on heer on their first date, and where heer apologised to him after tina's fiasco). But i don't know what that is called...any idea?

reddit.com

Nawab said all the right things throughout the entire episode 😭😭😭

Mujhe mere kaano par bharosa nahi ho rha!! Ek din me itni saari sahi baatein nawab brar ke mu se??!

But I don't understand ek theek hota hai toh doosra bigad jaata hai 😭 arjun ki mammi ki tabiyat kharab hai toh college me tamasha karne ki kya zaroorat hai? Aur nawab se jhoot bolne se kiski tabiyat sahi ho rahi hai? Kuch bhi?! 😭

Also in sabko koi cognitive issues hai kya? Kal saare sandhu bhool gaye the ajit ke birth certificate wale kaand ke baare me, aur aaj bedi's bhool gye ki heer already shaadi Tod chuki hai!!!

Aur arjun ko kaun de raha hai banglore me job? Degree bhi nahi hai uske paas?😭 Kuch bhi likh rhe hain ye log atp

Okayish episode again? Idk the story didn't move really but is better than the previous episode?! Ahh just end this BS already!

And heer oh my baby heer🥹🫶🏼

Fine episode?

Today's episode was a great laugh atleast, and the story moved forward too so ig it was borderline ok?

Arjun has lost it completely lmao aur ye Sandhu's saare hi gajni hain kya? The entire birth certificate drama happened right in front of them and now they all act as if kisi ko kuch pata hi nahi hai?😭

And idk about you guys but nawab's dialogues were deregatory today as well. I get that he is pissed and rightfully so, but saying things like "ab toh sabke saamne kisi aur ka haath pakadna band kro" and "kam se kam 'iss baar', 'iss aadmi' ko ye feel mat krwao ki tumse pyaar krke wo bewakoof ban gaya hai" was like saying she uses men as tissue paper and characters like pammi saying such stuff is fine (not really, but it's better if villains say such things), but the ml saying that is NOT OK imo. I am not saying his anger wasn't justified, or him getting pissed off wasn't justified— it totally was, but the writers are so dumb to give him such cheap dialogues. Gussa dikhane ke aur bhi tareeke hain, you don't have to question her character (even if subtly) to vent out!

But yeah apart from that everything was fine, so no rant today 🤪

What if....

I clearly cannot stop myself 😭

What if heer breaks the engagement, and arjun in retaliation hits nawab hence them fighting, and heer tries to break them apart— but as she comes in between to protect nawab (because for whatever reason he is not fighting back in one of the bts), arjun lashes out at her one last time, calling out her priorities and a lot of other shit he always goes on about and then leaves, after which heer turns towards nawab (who still doesn't know she broke the engagement) to check if he is ok but he too berates her with his "mujhe aage kyu nahi badhne de rahi ho" lecture he gives everytime but he crosses a limit this time, and heartbroken by his words, heer walks off.

Later simran calls nawab informing him that she can't meet him at the decided time because "her sister has gone missing" — hence heer's photo/poster bts. Tensed, the sandhu's go to the police station to file her missing person's report and that is how nawab realises heer and simran's connection somehow— I am confused about this one though, because it's high time it needs to come out and yet I cannot think of one possible situation of when the truth comes to light! The hospital bts might be heer ending up in the hospital or a false alarm (the police saying "hume ek ladki ki laash mili hai" sort of mess).

And since someone here mentioned how shefali mam keeps on hinting on something big is about to happen, what if the promo is actually heewab's shadi promo? And this heerjun ruckus ends in Panchkula itself? Ik this is a stretch, but if the truth about simran being heer's sister is out according to my theory then I don't see any reason plausible enough to continue that angle! And with heer finally breaking her engagement and neelu knowing the truth about heer's age and nawab almost loosing heer— what else can stop a confession from happening?

If they end this Panchkula track still without revealing simran's identity to nawab toh kab reveal krenge? Shaadi ke mandap par? 😭

Watch then give better setup for heerjun wedding

I am pretty sure they do it on purpose lmao. And ik the wedding will turn out to be heewab's, but....😐

I don't understand how this progressively gets worse by each passing day

I mean with the backlash, the dropping trp, fans leaving the FD and literal trends on X, with everyone wording out their dissatisfaction with the plot— how do they manage to go lower by each passing episode? What talent is this? Because nobody in their sane minds could do this, that too so efficiently.

Audience asked for a rain scene, they said here you go a rain scene with simwab, yayyy!! I mean are they kidding us fr?! Wtf was that? That hug? Him tugging strands of her hair, wanting to build a 'real' relationship...wtf is wrong with the makers? Who is the lead couple at this point?

I hated how heer was crying, begging in front of devi maa for some signal and there nawab was having that rain hug with his gf/sister in law! Crossing every boundaries of disgust! Also how is that girl in love with him in two weeks? SO IN LOVE THAT SHE WANTS TO PROPOSE?! GIRL YOU DONT EVEN KNOW HIS NAME??!

AND NAWAB...ah! Doesn't matter how much I want to whitewash him or understand his pain or his side of the story, i cannot look at him the same way I used to! Trying to move on is one things which could have been shown with him m not taking actual efforts, but this? Some people yesterday were saying that it's nawab's character, that he was trying to compensate... enough compensation, no? He is ready to go on trip with her...what the actual fuck?! Plot ke liye kuch bhi karenge ye log. And now simran has an abusive ex? Make him enter and hurt heer atp, idc, I can't watch this shit anymore!

And don't even get me started on the play...that was embarrassing to watch oml! But hey, atleast i laughed at it!

Oh and arjun? That bloodsucking a-hole, is his self respect in the gutter? Oh sorry, his brain is! KUCH BHI??!!

I had no expectations from neelu, so no real disappointment there, but the rest of it PMO!

Reasons to NOT watch today's episode:

YOU MIGHT ACTUALLY FALL IN LOVE WITH JASMEET/HEER!!

Talli (takli) heer— I think I have a new crush 😭 (sorry raza)

"Mammi daategi, aaj somwaar tha yaar....khair chodo" 😭😭😭

Heer calling nawab and asking him to hang up after saying she does not want to talk to him

Heer clinging to that net and addressing him as gadha

"OYEEEEEEEE tum apna bat bhool gaye the kyaaaa"

Heer accidentally hitting nawab (the car bonet scene) and very intentionally pulling his cheeks

Sookhe paneer ke tukde se paneer tikke tak ka safar 😭

Heer's rampwalk 😭😭 (I might actually be in love guys)

Heer calling him cute wo bhi collar pakad kar 😭

"Yar meri mammi daategi" ×2

Machli jal ki raani wala pout 😭✋🏼

The statue game

The car door chaos

The mirror scene

Heer calling onto Sharks with her puch-puch

Heer clarifying whatever "angry rant" she does is just fake anger— nawab and the audience needed to hear that honestly

Nawaaaabb-heeeeer (ahh kill me already 😭)

And that hug at last😭😭😭😭😭

ADDITIONAL good things:

1.Nawab finally playing cricket

2.Nawab forgetting about his date

3.Nawab getting concerned for heer's safety.."kisi ne kuch Kiya toh nahi"..... Oh my protective babyyyyy

  1. Nawab mentioning their anniversary as a 'special day' (han ik I am getting hyper at the smallest things now)

  2. Mention of dora brar lol

The episode was so good I feel like crying 😭😭😭

I don't think I even have the right words to express the happiness I am feeling rn. All I can/want to say is that heer is so freaking cute... I can't even process her cuteness 😭

And everytime she said NAWAAAB and he replied in the exact same tone....oh my goddd get them married already 😭😭 How comfortable they were with each other, that haq OMFG 😭😭😭

The only complaint is why neelu had to use her (non existing) brain cells today? Bol deti na nawab ko, he would have handled the rest 😭😭

Today I don't even have complaints with gulab, devil is doing god's work here😭😭 (ik I will hate her tomorrow as soon as she opens her mouth, but aaj ke liye toh theek hi tha)

But I did hate the scene where heer said to simran "tera wala bhi nikamma, aur mera wala bhi" and then both of them proceeded to call the same guy— still feeling disgusted about that!

But the overall episode was soooooo gooooddddd!!! I am going to re-watch it now 😋

Ps: with their history of 1 good and 20 traumatic episodes, i would like to suggest that do not get your hopes up, not yet!

Let's take guesses...

I am actually anticipating tomorrow's episode and it's happening after such a long time *sobs*

So what's the one thing you want to see tomorrow during the drunk heer scene and you only get one chance— one single scene/dialogue/song.

Try to be specific 🙃

Mine is nawab learning of heer's disinterest in her engagement with arjun.

And I am taking a second chance too, since I am the creator of this post lol— GULAAB STAYING THE FUCK AWAY FROM THEM!!!

This might be irrelevant but...

Long post ahead...but I just miss the old tjjd and my heart stinged when I saw this...

I accidentally saw some clips of SHKH and istg I have been against that show with all my will (i cannot stand the fact that they have a 16 year old character pining and crying for a grown up guy) but seeing that clip made me actually ponder where our show lacks (and so I watched two other clips, hehe).

Now I want to tell this before hand I have not watched that show, so I have almost nill context to it, all i understood was that DV is a theme in that show as well, and i LOVED HOW THEY HANDLED IT!

The recent episode showed the ml(mahid) and fl (seher) save seher's mother (kausar) from a near death situation (no idea how she landed there), and bring her home. Seher tries to comfort her mother who is shaken, and later seher shares some of her pain with mahid (they are divorced as of now) white making a potion for kausar, to which HE LISTENS.

A while later kausar confides in both of them how she is scared for seher's life— and mahid sees it first hand (as much as I understand mahid and kausar were never the same team earlier) and that's when seher's father (parvez) gets home (now since I watched only clips on yt, i might be missing details).

Watching kausar tremble in fear, Mahid walks out and shoves a kulfi/icecream into parvez's mouth, practically choking him. Then he takes him to the crossroad and beats him black and blue. He also covers parvez up in chilli powder, and gives him electric shock— as implied in this episode, both of which was done by parvez to kausar at some point. Then he went as far as kicking parvez, and when parvez fell on the ground, mahid gave kausar a baton, urging her to beat him up and kausar does exactly that till she feels satisfied. And then the police is called but parvez fleds the scene. And all this while— when parvez was being 'punished' by mahid, not one single tear escaped neither kausar's not seher's eyes and IT GAVE ME SUCH SATISFACTION! Because I am so done watching heer/preeti/neelu cry and cry everytime, it's so effing repeatative at this point. And I get it, even if kausar and neelu are almost in the same situation, their core characteristics are different, but what irritates me is that neelu never tries to fight back. It's been like 200 episodes now, and all we see is her being a doormat EVERYTIME!! Kausar too is not educated, and depends on her daughter for most of the things but she sees it as her responsibility to upbring seher and not the other way round.

Showing DV is not the issue, handling it with care is! You cannot randomly add scenes and then give no conclusion to the characters suffering throughout. Even when heer took neelu and preeti away, was that justice? I don't think so!

Secondly, the same episode, mahid took seher and her mom home, and they were ofcourse not welcomed there but mahid didn't give a shit. He clearly told his mother figure that your tears don't affect me anymore, when she started doing emotional drama. He said he doesn't care what anyone says and HE TOOK A FUCKING STAND.

Now ik we have seen nawab do that for heer many times, but have we really? 🥲

Third and the last point is how the audience feels connected to the show, how they feel the makers listen to them— something most of our fd felt up until a month ago ig? And that lack of connection to the show, to the characters, and to the makers feels.... harsh? Almost as if idek what I am watching anymore.

To sum it up, maybe I got jealous? Yeah that's what it was ig. But I do miss the excitement I had back then, and how the show kept surprising me IN A GOOD WAY (it still keeps on surprising me by going downhill EVERYDAY lol).

Kudos to them for the great execution and for actually listening to their audience, and prayers for us lol.

They also do not care about side characters at all. Name one character that started off as a pivotal character and didnt get ruined in the process. Every single character has been butchered be it heer, nawab, arjun, tina, gulaab, dilip, richa, koyal— every freaking body!!

It's not even like they butcher the side characters to let the main leads shine, rather they throw the main leads under the bus to let the other side characters get more ruined that they already are (best example is how they handled the pammi situation), just make it make sense 😭

Ok first things first— meri galti thi jo mujhe laga nawab alag hai. The way he was smiling, running his hands through his hair, and BLUSHING???! Just fuck off now, leave heer alone, tum apni mammi ke saath the raho! 🙏🏼

Secondly, I still feel they scraped some part of it, not entirely ofcourse, but the precap they gave yesterday was scrapped, aur obviously uss precap se related jo bhi hua hoga for her dadi to throw her out wo bhi scrap ho gya aur ghar se nikalne ke baad jo hone wala tha wo bhi— toh Darr toh hai!!

What i don't understand is why are they introducing the new girl in a bad light? Abhi tak she did nothing as such jiske liye hum ye bol sake ki wo galat hai, and i really don't think wo villain banegi (please ek aur butchered female character nahi 😭), but why do they have to introduce her like that? Like what do they even think, audience khush hogi? Hype badhegi? Kya soch rahe hain bhai??
