Are these passable?

I just started doing gel X and trying to figure it out. I still struggle with cuticles 😭are these as bad as I think they are in my head? Also what could be fixed to make them not look so “diy”?

I’m new at learning at home nails. The idea of making press on sounds pretty cool but how do you know which sizes to use? Do you just make multiple of the same but in different sizes?
