2012 Mazda 2 touring, 90k miles, $5k , carfax attached

I’m looking for a reliable daily commuter for my 45 minute commute to and from work. I need something that will last 5 years on just regular maintenance. How reliable is the Mazda 2?

The seller says he doesn’t want to go to autozone for a obd report since he has his own scanner that will show codes. But I don’t if his would tell me what the auto zone report would. Emissions, etc

I’m also a little worried since it was used as a rental car before but that was long ago so it might not be as bad, right?

Which car should I get

I need a reliable commuter that’s going to survive 5+ years on just regular maintenance. My commute to work is 46 minutes each way. I’m test driving these soon but I want to know which one should I get if the test drives goes good. All of these cars are in the northeast

2010 Honda accord - 120k miles - $5k
- looks good besides the peeling clear coat
- good reviews online
- concerned if it’ll last the 5 years

2008 Toyota Corolla - 98k miles - $5100
- looks good and reliable
- seller had it since 85k and used it to get to school
- this is like a hour from me so it’s a commute to go get

2011 Mitsubishi lancer - 114k miles - $3k
- coolest and cheapest
- I use to have a 06 lancer that was very reliable but wasn’t really gas efficient. Don’t know how it compares to this one
- my main issue is reliability and if it’ll last until 200k+ miles
- also an hour away from me

If you guys can rank them that’ll be great. Thanks

2010 Honda insight, 131k miles, $4k

I need a reliable commuter that will survive at least 5 years on just regular maintenance. I’ve heard these cars are reliable but if the battery goes then I’m screwed. Seller says it gets 50mpg. I think that’s a little rust on the rear driver side door, I’m afraid it’s been sitting and that effected the battery.

Would you take this over a 2010 Honda accord with 120k miles for 5k?

2007 CX7 Mazda, $4500, 79k miles

I need a reliable commuter that’s going to last me 5 years with only just regular maintenance. I got them down to 4500, should I buy? What should I look out for on the test drive?

2008 Mazda Mazda6, 112k miles, $5800

I need a reliable commuter that won’t need anything besides regular maintenance. I’ve heard newer Mazdas are pretty reliable but how are these? I don’t want to be at the mechanic every other month

2007 Honda Civic, 88k miles, $5300, carfax attached

I’m looking for a reliable commuter. This has a small accident from the person that owned it before him. I got him down to 5300, should I get it?

Need a reliable work commuter. Just started a new job and don’t want to be at the mechanic every couple months. This looks suspiciously clean. I was going to offer 5k.
