The constant obsession with women’s intentions on this sub is embarrassing.
Why is this sub sooo anti-women, especially towards its own women?
Every time I open this subreddit, I come across at least a few posts within 24 hours accusing ambitious women of trying to honey-trap rich men or manipulate them for money. Like, seriously..why is this such a recurring obsession?
In reality, this behaviour exists in a certain section of people, regardless of gender. Men also seek women from wealthy or well-established families and i have witnessed this myself. Yet somehow when women do it, it becomes a whole discussion about their character and intentions. lol
As a woman entrepreneur myself, I know so many women who are busy building their businesses, growing their careers, and thriving on their own.. with secure jobs and financial independence. Meanwhile, some men seem more interested in complaining about successful women than putting the same energy into improving their own lives. And honestly, this subreddit only reinforces that impression.
I can’t help but assume this subreddit has a predominantly male audience, which might explain the constant fixation on women’s choices and motives. But the insecurity is LOUD. 😭
