🏏 FREE CUSTOM KIT EDITOR FOR CRICKET CAPTAIN 2026

For the first time ever, Cricket Captain 2026 lets us create and install custom kits and I’ve made a free browser-based Kit Editor to make it much easier.

You can now:

✅ Pick the team you want to edit

✅ Design the shirt front and back

✅ Design the pants front and back

✅ Choose helmet and pad colours

✅ Add colours, stripes, patterns, logos and text

✅ Export the four required PNG files

✅ Copy the exact "editedkits.txt" code needed to get it working in-game

🚨 New Cricket Captain 2026 Series Begins! 🚨

I’m starting a brand new England rebuild in Cricket Captain 2026 - and this one is BIG.

After all the highs and lows of Bazball, the Ashes pain, the India series, the questions around Stokes/McCullum, and the current chaos around England cricket… I’m taking over across ALL THREE formats.

The mission:

✅ Become the #1 ranked Test team in the world
✅ Become the #1 ranked ODI team in the world
✅ Become the #1 ranked T20I team in the world
✅ Win the World Test Championship
✅ Win the ODI World Cup
✅ Win the T20 World Cup
✅ Find England’s next great Test all-rounder to officially replace Ben Stokes

Bazball started the revolution… now it’s time to finish the job.

Cricket Captain 2026 has been announced — and this genuinely looks like a big one for rebuild saves 

The Steam page is now live, with a planned release date of 19 June 2026.

Big headline for me: 45 new playable domestic teams have been added across:

Afghanistan
Bangladesh
Ireland
Sri Lanka
Zimbabwe

That could open up some brilliant long-term saves. Zimbabwe rebuild? Afghanistan domestic dynasty? Ireland road-to-the-top? Sri Lanka youth factory? There are loads of possibilities.

There are also new editors for:

 Kits
 Team emblems
 Competition logos

Plus match engine improvements, smoother 3D highlights, faster contracts/save times/score predictor, and some long-term visual bugs fixed like smoother shot lines, boundary rope improvements, Hawkeye batsman position, camera zoom bug, new ball icon flashing, and clipping issues.

As someone who mainly does Cricket Captain rebuild series on YouTube, this is probably the most excited I’ve been for a new version in a while. The new domestic systems could make for some really fresh saves.
