Anyone else agree we need more classic country songs?

I realize country is less popular and mainstream than classic rock and metal, but there must be some country fans out there in the Rocksmith community. Is it because these songs get taken down from Customforge as soon as they are uploaded?

Give me country classics like Dave Dudley- Truck Drivin' Man, George Jones- White Lightning, Buck Owens- Buckaroo, Don Rich- The Happy Go Lucky Guitar, etc. etc. Anything but the endless stream of metal songs. I just want more of that wholesome, earthy, old school country twang from the 50s, 60s. Surely I can't be the only one.

One day I'll try my hand at charting some of my favorite country songs once I can figure out how to use the software (editor on fire). But its a struggle with my ADHD and lack of theory knowledge. Peace y'all

Whats the best way to mute the strings between the high and low E?

I've been trying to play some Chet Atkins and keep running into these chords on the high and low strings (pic related). As you can see there is an E5 with an open string on the low E and a fretted note on the high E. How would you suggest muting the strings in between? Do I do a barre on the adjacent fret or just use my other fingers to mute between them? Just one finger or two? I usually try to mute the strings between with my other middle and ring fingers but nothing feels comfortable or intuitive. I appreciate any help you can give me.

I'm new to tapping and just started to play Joe Satriani's Midnight so I could figure it out. Can someone please explain the difference between these "tapped" notes with the arrows and regular notes? What am I supposed to do differently between the two? Is there a tutorial for this? Thanks.
