Has poker conditioned you to feel unlikely things are likely to happen?

For example, if a doctor told me that my surgery has a 92% survival rate, I would be shitting my pants

Being a fish who runs bad has got to be the worst feeling ever

I’ve been playing poker for like six years.

And I know enough now to know that when I started, I was playing like complete shit.

With that said, I also ran horrendously with premium hands.

With AA, specifically, I lost like 10 buy ins AIPF… 0 for 10.

Even thinking back on it now… It was disgusting how badly I was running.

And that’s what made me think… Being a fish with bad luck has got to be the worst feeling ever…

Because you know you can’t win on skill, so losing on luck is just a kick in the fucking nuts
