Hey everyone,
Me (F)and my friend(F) are planning to visit Raipur for a cricket match at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium.
From what I’ve read, the stadium is in Naya Raipur and quite far from the main city (~20–22 km from railway station), and there aren’t many hotels nearby .
We have a few concerns and would really appreciate advice:
The match might end late at night
We have a morning train the next day
Safety (especially returning late after the match)
Transport availability at night
So where would you recommend staying?
Near the stadium (if that’s even practical)?
Or in the main city near the railway station?
Also, how easy is it to get cabs/transport after the match ends?
Any tips from people who’ve attended matches there would be super helpful
