Need help quitting my job
Hey people,
So i am working at the jumbo as a “oproepkracht” with a 0 hour contract, but i have gotten a job offer that connects with the study that i am about to do, so obviously i want to leave the jumbo asap so i can start working at my new job.
But once i told the manager that i wanted to quit she told me its a 4 week notice
However my dad told me that this isnt true and showed me that since i am “oproepkracht” my notice period is 4 days, not weeks. And basically everywhere i looked online it states that its 4 days not weeks.
But my manager says “no no its 4 weeks, its written in the CAO, u just have to look better” (i fall under the CAO of Levensmiddelenbedrijf) but in my contract it says the notice is following the law, which would be 4 days (see image)
I just really need help with what i can do, i dont want to continue working here for another 4 weeks in a job i dont really like when i have another job right around the corner that i would love 10x more.
Do i just tell them “hey these are my rights” and leave 4 days later, or is there something i am completely missing?
