Battery Question
Hey there, brand new to the Ego ecosystem. I just picked up a string trimmer and pressure washer yesterday. The string trimmer came with a 4.0 ah battery and a deal for an extra 2.5 ah for free.
I’m trying to figure out what my expectations should be from these batteries.
I charged them fully before using. Ran the 4.0 dead and switched to the 2.5. 4.0 wouldn’t charge. Did the three button press and hold method to “reset” it and it was fine. No issue charging the 2.5.
Fast forward to today and I’m trying to pressure washer my deck with one battery always on the charger, but these things don’t want to charge. I finally got the 4.0 to charge again after unplugging the charger for a bit and doing the reset. Then after using it, it won’t charge again. Same with the 2.5. Do they really need a long time to “cool down”? Never seen a battery platform so finicky.
TLDR: Should I be able to charge a battery as soon as I take it off the tool?
