I finally saw Bilmuri live last night in NYC at rooftop at pier 17 and it was fucking amazing. Incredible performance and enjoyed every second.

But I'm just a little bummed they don't play any of their old stuff. I got into Bilmuri back in his very early days with the albums Bilmuri, Letters, and Frame. I know these albums aren't super popular, but they are his best material in my opinion and I wish he'd play just a few songs from them.

I'm super happy for Johnny getting big and popular, but these songs have such sentimental meaning to me and I feel like no one really knows them.

Wtf is going on around here? This place is feeling less and less safe. Does anybody have any thoughts on things we can do to help solve this problem and keep these people off the streets? Town Halls etc?

Received a text from my landlord with the following details (this happened near Franklin and Freeman yesterday 5/8 around 1pm):

"...yesterday a woman was attacked and sexually assaulted in front of the apartment building across the street. Apparently he chased her down the street trying to keep attacking her till neighbors fought him off her. A neighbor said she witnessed it and it was horrible. The lady was bruised and broke a finger. The guy was arrested but I don’t know much more...."

Wondering if anyone knows of a spot to get some decent cigars around here? I'm near the Greenpoint ferry/Transmitter Park area. I was craving one today but saw most spots are over in Williamsburg or the city. I'm not an avid smoker and don't need anything fancy. Just not smoking a Dutch or Game haha anywhere I can get like an Acid or A. Fuente cigar would be awesome. Appreciate any recommendations!
