Similarly to the visuals for the pairup hood gets from her, the runes fading in and out looks so cool but Wanda doesn’t even get her own runes showing up in regular gameplay
Why does it sit on TOP of that random jagged stray piece of hair. The model for this does NOT match any of its 2D art and it’s really disappointing for a legendary skin that’s already lacking her hair physics
I’m bored and just wanted to type out what I’d like to see for Wanda in the rivals patchnotes style. It’s quite lengthy but holds I think a reasonable enough amount of changes since I didn’t just want to only buff her without a few extra balances. Mainly focused on changes to her primary and secondary fires that set her up for success down the line if any future buffs or nerfs need to happen. A 29% winrate is just criminal, there’s beginner character and then there’s THAT. I know part of it is how forgiving her skill floor is, so I’ve aimed to adjust that a little bit while still keeping her fairly approachable if your main gameplay is m1 harassing fliers and the occasional right click.
Wanda’s been struggling lately, so she’s trading in some of her effortless casting for more focused devastation!
BASEKIT
Chaos control
+ Channeling is no longer interrupted when casting Cthonian/Mystic Burst
-falloff adjusted to deal 75 dps at 20m
-Spell field (autoaim) radius reduced from 3m to 2m
+Recharge rate from 0.15 per hit to 0.2
Cthonian Burst
~Direct hit damage to 45, spell field damage to 35
+Can now headshot, doubling the direct hit damage to 90 for 125 damage per headshot
Mystic Projection
+Movement speed boost to 100% (Keeps the cooldown higher since she’d be more of a damage threat)
TEAMUPS
Dr Strange Pairup
A slight damage nerf on the splash damage of the projectiles to account for the increased dps of being able to cast chaos control with them again
Or if it’s possible for her to get a treatment more like Thor teamup storm:
strange pairup now replaces chaos control with mystic burst instead of replacing cthonian burst. Chaos energy is changed into a reloadable reserve of ammunition The Scarlet Witch can draw from to barrage foes or burst them down at her leisure! The projectile speed of mystic burst has been slightly improved
Chaos Reserves: 90
Mystic burst consumes 2 ammo per projectile and cannot headshot, cthonian burst consumes 9 and can headshot. Reload is 1.2 seconds
(This allows for a version of the character who can be balanced for not having autoaim, while keeping jubilee teamup as a low skill floor beginner friendly character while also enhancing her current playstyle of hybrid brawl dive that higher skill ceiling players can still find reward with)
