I had my security cameras installed and the construction crews were “brilliant” people who placed a light and gutter in front of my cameras a few weeks later. I have multiple like this, I am using a duo 3v. I have a very nice view of the back of the gutter drain on many.
I bought a globe electric smart ceiling fan and I’d like to add it to HomeKit via homebridge. Does anyone know how to do so? I found a few guides but they all said to use the smart life app and Tuya however when I try to pair the fan with smart life it fails to pair. I can put it in pairing mode and it never finds the fan, while if I do the same steps on another fan then it gets picked up right away by the globe app.
Since I can’t pair it with smart life and use the tuya plugins is there any other plugin I can use that would work? The fans were new and the guides I saw were at least 3-4 years old.
I did try pairing the globe account with smart things to try to pair smart things with homebridge however when I paired my globe account it said no devices were brought over to smart things.

Hello, I just moved into a new house and am setting everything up again. I moved in with some family members who all have their own Apple ID. I have most of the accessories like the thermostat and door lock setup on my home in HomeKit and I am the primary owner of the home in HomeKit. Do I have to setup their HomePods and Apple TV's on my account so we are all under one home and they can see all of my cameras and control all of my devices?
If I have to set them up on my account, will they be able to access any of my data? I was not going to enable personal requests as they are all in the respective person's room.

I cant find any older garage doors and ran out of time and got a security 3.0 myq opener. It was one I didn’t want but I needed a door opener and it’s one they had available to install. Is there any way I can get HomeKit on it? Myq is horrible but the only way I could think of to get HomeKit compatibility is to have a switch that extends to physically press the button on the door opener, is there any other way?
