Any tips on how to get a good PlayStation Portal connection?

So for the last few years, I've been deeply behind on many video games. So for these last few days, I've been planning to play my newly bought PlayStation Portal in my car for my 1 hour lunch break at work so I can catch up. I just need to make sure that my connection is good for me to do this at all.

When I finally tested the Portal's connection in the parking lot using my work building's public wi-fi and my phone's hotspot, both of them gave me pretty bad connection. Either 480p or 720p, latency lag, very small bit of static noises, bad connection notification in the corner, screen sometimes doing some type of glitch effect, unconnecting me from the wifi or hotspot, and my portal crashing and unconnecting me from my PS5.

I'm just trying to think of anything I can try to do to get a stable connection. I really don't know if there's anything else I can do to make playing in my car work.
