You mean to tell me calling orders helps?!
I do expo, sandwiches, fry and appetizers. I'm the one that calls the tickets. The two line cooks tell me heard and yes and down but they aren't dropping it when they say. So we'll have four veggie omelettes and four skillets. Two are gluten free celiac allergy plates. They say down and heard and got it. And then grab a ticket and throw it down and the servers grab it. You just sent our allergy food to a non allergy missed three plates and tried to send a allergy meal by itself. Please for the love of all things unholy stop trying to send shit when you don't know what you're sending.
Wish us luck
We are on our second week, three in the kitchen at a brunch place, they have eight servers and two baristas and two bartenders and four hostess three dishwashers. We've been slammed every day to the point of an hour wait list from 10 to 3. Saturday there is a farmers market right next to us so slammed and mother's day plus the news came and interviewed. I'm excited and terrified at the same time.
